Placing an order & payment.

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

Unless we are specifically asked about requirements or compatibility, we shall assume the customer is aware of what these are.

Prices and promotional offers are subject to change without notice. All are subject to availability.

Goods are not supplied on a trial basis.
Coupon codes can only be claimed during checkout on the website *Coupon discount cannot be redeemed after purchase.

We do our best to ensure prices on our website are correct, however it is possible for mistakes to be made. Therefore we reserve the right not to accept an order placed on our website if we discover an error has been made with the advertised price, or any error relating to the contents of a package offered at a specific price (e.g. we advertise a package contains 8 items, when it should only contain 4).

Pre-release reservation Where we supply prices for items before they have been released we will supply a price for which we expect the item to sell. Should circumstances beyond our control result in price changes (up or down) we will contact you to confirm if you will accept the amended price.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods ordered are not available, you will be notified by e-mail (or by other means if no e-mail address has been provided) and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available from stock or to cancel your order.

Your credit/debit card will be charged at the time of order in order to secure the goods.

If we have to part ship an order, due to temporary stock shortage, subsequent part shipments will not carry a delivery charge. We will always try to let you know if an item is out of stock at the time when you place your order. If, however, you order new release items, we shall hold the order until all items are in stock unless you agree to pay an additional shipping charge.

We reserve the right to refuse a sale. Any orders placed by you will be treated as an offer to purchase the goods or services from us and we have the right to reject such offers at any time. You acknowledge that any automated acknowledgment of your order that you may receive from us shall not amount to our acceptance of your offer to purchase goods or services advertised on the Website. The conclusion of a contract between you and us will take place when we debit your credit, debit card or PayPal account or dispatch the goods to you or commence the services, whichever is the later.  If payment has been taken then a refund will be issued immediately and sale would be cancelled.

No property or title of the goods shall pass from Eclipse Sound & Lighting to the customer until payment has been received in full. The customer is responsible for the goods from the time of delivery and liability to insure the goods then rests with the customer.

If, using our currency selector, you have chosen to display our prices in Euros or US Dollars instead of UK Pounds; you will still be charged and invoiced in UK Pounds sterling, as we do not accept foreign currency. At the point of payment, your card-issuing bank will convert the amount paid in UK pounds to Euros or US Dollars using their current exchange rate. Please bear in mind our currency display is a guide and that your bank exchange rate may be different to our online display and will reflect on your card statement.

Access, MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, Electron, Delta cards are accepted without a surcharge, however we reserve the right to deliver only to the card holders billing address unless the card issuer states otherwise. Personal and business cheques are also welcome by us, but will be subject to a seven-day clearance time.

We can accept payment by PayPal for all orders. Please ensure that the address you have selected within PayPal as the delivery address matches the address you have specified on your order. We can only ship to the specified PayPal delivery address.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from the Website.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be used in full in a single transaction. There is no change or credit given for unused portions of a gift voucher. Only one voucher can be redeemed per transaction. The balance of your shopping basket must be paid for using normal payment methods.

The gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers (including discount code offers). Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void.

We accept no liability for gift vouchers lost or stolen. Vouchers purchased with cards which have had payment reclaimed will be invalidated. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a voucher, which we deem to have been tampered with, duplicated, or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud. Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.

We reserve the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of the voucher if, at our discretion, we deem such action necessary.


We comply with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (“Distance Selling Regulations”). Where you have purchased the goods or services as a consumer (i.e. for private use as opposed to business use), are entitled to cancel any contract completed with us within 7 days from the day after receipt of the goods or services. Please note however, that the 7-day cooling off period is not an opportunity to test out and use the product.

If you do wish cancel a contract you must notify us by contacting us in writing to Eclipse Sound & Lighting, 143-145 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast, N.Ireland, BT4 3HX.  Eclipse Sound & Lighting shall reimburse any payment made for Goods or services cancelled by you the consumer within 30 days from the day of receipt of your cancellation notice.

You the consumer should return the Goods within 14 days or make available the Goods for collection by us within 21 days from the date of cancellation notice, we will notify you of when we wish to collect the goods or services The consumer is responsible for the cost & the safe returning of any cancelled Goods, or will be responsible for the direct cost of collection of such Goods or services. If we collect the Goods or services after receiving your cancellation notice we will charge the cost of collecting the goods or services, and will deduct this from any sum owed by us to you.

You must take reasonable care of the Goods both prior to cancellation of the Contract & following cancellation, while the Goods remain in your possession. Goods must be kept packed in their original box, with all accessories, manuals and cables. The packaging must not be defaced or damaged in any way; the Goods & packaging should be the same condition in which they are sold. (See also Returns.)
Purchases made as a business user are excluded from the Distance Selling Regulations.

If you are in any doubt as to whether an item is suitable for your needs, please call us, or email us for advice first. This may save a lot of time and hassle in you ordering the wrong item, and then having to return it. Our staff will be pleased to help you make the right choice, first time.
Certain items cannot be accepted under the Distance Selling Regulations. The following list indicates most such product types, but is not complete or exhaustive. We will of course provide a refund for any items that are proven to be unsuitable for the purpose they are intended, or cannot be repaired/replaced.

  • Textiles that have been cut to length
  • Cable that has been cut to length
  • Goods that have been manufactured to order
  • Any goods that have been customised to order
  • Non-stock items that have been ordered in specifically from an overseas supplier
  • Cases that have been manufactured to custom specifications
  • Cables manufactured to customer specifications
  • Used goods

Shipping & Delivery

The Customer’s signature will be required at the time of receipt and goods cannot be left without such a signature.

Please examine your parcel on delivery and note any damages when signing for the goods. All damages should be reported to us within 24 hours.

Claims for non-delivery must be made within 7 working days of the expected delivery date. Claims will not be accepted after this time.

If you receive an item and it is incorrect, or there is a shortage you must let us know as soon as possible within 72 hours.

Email Address

Please use your ISP (internet service provider) email address for placing orders. Online Email services such as Hotmail, Yahoo, etc are not ideal for placing online orders, since they are easy to obtain and often used by people trying to hide their identity. Additional security checks are required for this type of email address to prevent online fraud, which may result in your order being delayed.

If you agree at the time of registration to receive email marketing we will, on occasion send out emails containing details of upcoming offers and new products, and you can opt out of this at any time in the future by clicking unsubscribe link in the emails. We do not pass Email Addresses onto third parties with the exception of the Courier companies for the purpose of communicating with you regarding deliveries.

Eclipse Sound & Lighting uses Email as the primary communication method for information about dispatch and for dealing with warranty and support. Therefore customers must provide a valid, working email address and this should be kept up to date. If new purchases are made, or warranty or support tickets are opened and the email address registered has changed it is the customer’s responsibility to inform Eclipse Sound & Lighting as soon as possible.

It is also important that Eclipse Sound & Lighting emails do not get caught in Spam filters. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure Spam filters, grey listing, or other email restrictions do not block our emails.

Eclipse Sound & Lighting cannot accept any responsibility for delays in warranty or support caused by the customer not updating the account email address or emails being blocked by email restrictions on systems outside of Eclipse Sound & Lightings’ control.


All new products come with a full manufacturers 12-month warranty. Graded and B-stock items will have the warranty stated in the description. Faulty items to be returned under warranty to us will be repaired or replaced (whichever is appropriate). If the item has to be repaired this can often take 2-6 weeks. We will inform you as soon as we have an estimated date of return. Faulty items may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer, or at the discretion of Eclipse Sound & Lighting acting on behalf of the manufacturer.

Some items may come with a manufacturer’s extended warranty. These items are still covered by the standard 12 months warranty with Eclipse Sound & Lighting, but after this period you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for warranty support. Please note most manufacturers’ extended warranties require that the product be registered with the manufacturer within a certain period after purchase.

Please do not return goods without first contacting & receiving a return authorisation from Eclipse Sound & Lighting. Once a returns authorisation has been issued we will provide details for returning the faulty equipment. Eclipse Sound & Lighting cannot accept any liability for items returned without a returns authorisation.

Eclipse Sound & Lighting do not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on this website. We may make changes to the material on this website, or to the products and descriptions in it, at any time without notice. The material on this website may be out of date, and we make no commitment to update such material.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

If any part of these Terms and conditions, is held to be, or becomes void, or otherwise unenforceable for any reason under applicable law, the same shall be deemed omitted from here, and the validity and/or enforceability of the remaining provisions shall no in anyway be affected or impaired hereby.
